We offer an extensive range of painting investigation services and have successfully helped solve cases of conspiracy across the UK, Europe and the USA. 

As well as being a member of a number of Professional Conservation Bodies including the Italian IGIIC, Francis is also a member of the Association of Consulting Scientists, so you can trust you are always in expert hands.  We employ a wide range of scientific investigative tools to detect fraudulent paintings.  Where necessary we use cutting edge techniques such as microscopic, x-ray, infra-red and chemical analysis to support the investigation process.
Over the years we have helped everyone from insurance investigators, police and other professional bodies to detect fraudulent art.  Francis lectures and gives talks on fraudulent art and is a respected author on articles on the processes of art forgery.

As seen on TV

In 1997, Francis was commissioned on behalf of a television company to re-create an aged copy of a valuable painting. Using an old canvas and stretcher, he deliberately applied aging techniques using new paint and varnish layer.  The painting was then used for a televised documentary.
